オプトアウト/権利放棄

If you do not want the Student Health Insurance Plan, you must decline or opt-out of coverage by submitting a waiver. You may only opt-out of coverage during the following Waiver Periods:To qualify for a waiver, your health insurance plan must meet the requirements as listed below.

1. Be active by the first day of the term you are waiving.
2. Provide Primary and Emergency Care within 125 miles of the main UNR campus.
3. Pay 70% or greater for Inpatient Hospitalization.
4. Pay 70% or greater for Inpatient and Outpatient Mental Health benefits.
5. Provide Prescription Medication coverage.
6. Have a yearly, individual deductible of $4,000 or less.

All waivers must be submitted by 11:59 PM on the published waiver deadline to be considered.

Please note: Pooled gifting plans are not accepted as comparable coverage because they are not guaranteed health insurance plans, examples are:
